Deployment checklist template

  • Install nix
  • Copy hardeware config
  • Clone https://codeberg.org/jak2k/infrastructure
  • Rebuild
  • echo "vmagentpasswordhere" > /var/lib/credentials/vmagent-password && chmod 600 /var/lib/credentials/vmagent-password using new password where the user is the hostname
  • Same with /var/lib/credentials/wireguard-privatekey
  • Same with /var/lib/credentials/feedon
  • /var/lib/credentials/forgejo-internal-token (nix run 'nixpkgs#forgejo' -- generate secret INTERNAL_TOKEN)
  • Generate /run/secrets/pocket-id/encryption-key
  • Reboot
  • Restart alloy
  • Set up Pocket ID clients
